THE CITY OF PULPITS - Pistoia is a little gem a step away from Florence. It’s really easy to take the first train and get to one of the most interesting historical places in Tuscany in 40 minutes. Here we will discover the Romanesque style of local architecture that presents the typical two-color marble, white and green. What a charming town, surrounded by cultivations of ornamental plants and full of good food!
Walk in the small historical center, looking for farmer markets and medieval streets. We get into ancient churches, discovering original stone pulpits made by the Master John the "Pisan". Then climb up to the bell tower's roof to take some spectacular photos from this unique viewpoint. For those who do not suffer from vertigo!
Finally, we will have a relaxing moment in the "Piazza della Sala" drinking an aperitif together. This is also a good location to dine choosing one of the typical restaurants.
