In the following and more videos we discover the secrets of World's most famous statue, the David de Michelangelo.

Emmanuele Tour Guide in Florence visits some famous and sometimes less known places to tell you the story the origin and and sometimes the troubles that happened to him.

It all begins when we approach the southern city wall, Porta Romana, and we tell you the story of the construction of Florence at the time of Michelangelo as per many other contemporary artists such as Franciabigio (Chapter 1).

Then we will go to discover a hidden museum in Florence, today an artistic college, which preserves some masterpieces inside (Chapter 2).

Not everyone knows what a gipsothèque is and what the Porta Romana Institute of Fine Arts preserves inside. Eventually, we will enter the Accademia, that preserves the original Michelangelo’s sculpture and we will see both the famous as well as the least known details of the marble masterpiece (Chapter 3).
